I oftern have trouble seeing them as well. It always seems to work if I right click and save as... to my hard drive and run it from there.

I have recnetly started looking at selling the 'teg for a used C5 and that video is not what my wallet needed to see right now!

Hey Jim go here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...ad/default.asp and update your windows media player to the newest version if you have not already. I had the same problem. I think it's the new IE 6.0 does not like Mplayer 5/6.x. Or since you have such a fast connection right click and save the file to your HDD and open it with Microcrap media player. ps. what's up with the Aurora/Blackbird? Still collecting dust? sold em?

Jim that was funny!!! hehehe [img]smile.gif[/img] I would suggest what 90teg said and update your Media Player. Also look at updating your video codecs (e.g. divx, mpg, avi...). Doing so will enable you to view most of the movie types out there [img]smile.gif[/img]

The video is awesome. I've gotta say, it just underlines the fact that there is no substitute for cubic inches.

My dad's toy has many times embarresed guys with "fast cars" (you name any that are likely to be seen in Colorado). It's a 1948 Ford Coupe with a 496" big block, two 850 cfm Holley carbs, force fed by a 6-71 BDS blower @17psi. Everything about the car is heavy, but you can't argue with 986HP. Except for the Superman ride at 6 flags Magic Mountain, it's the fastest thing I've ever been in. Seriously, if you are not paying attention when he mashes the throttle, serious neck injury can result.

That vette vid. is just motivation for me to finish up my long running project - a 350" 4-bolt powered 1971 MGB. Motor's in, still needs everything else (wiring, exhaust, hole in the hood...the list is long).

Actually boys...
I only use the WEB-TV machine to handle my E-mail at home. All of my "FI" board work is done from a real desktop with more hop-ups than my hybrid H/B... including a cable modem !!!

By the way...

When I click on the link at the top of this thread... my windows media player screen pops up... and then an ERROR box that says "Windows Media Player Error"... and then something about an incorrect pathway and/or filename.

So, how is this MY FAULT ?!?
Is there something wrong with my computer ???
Is some special command or technique required to view it ???
Obviously, I know most of the people who have responded positively to this video are computer geniuses... like Tim and Bill.

With that said, let me make a suggestion: Why don't you computer GENIUSES post things in such a way that we (the electronically challenged) computer JACK-ASSES can enjoy them with you !!!

Mine does this exact same thing at work on NT 4.0. The new media player that's out does not work on NT yet so my way around it is to right click on the link to the vid and "save as..." and then open it from where you saved it to. Seems to work ~95% of the time.
